Reading- We are learning about animal defenses in our research unit. Mrs. McCurry will teach us about primary sources on Tuesday before the animal project is handed out on Wednesday (in-class project).
Writing- This is our last week working on our fictional writing (I extended the deadline for their published copies).
Grammar- We are working through our prefixes and suffixes.
Math- We have started to talk about finding the perimeter of a rectangle and understanding the formula. We will begin our multiplication and division unit before the end of this week. The students will have a quiz on perimeter and measurement multi-step problems on Friday.
Social Studies- We are finishing up week 3: Trouble Brewing in the Colonies. The test will be on Friday.
